The problem
The idea began while a family baby shower was being organised. Guests did not know what to buy, while the organisers wanted useful presents without duplicates.
Key decisions
Working solution
The outcome is a complete product spanning the data model, interface and public deployment. Organisers can prepare a list and guests can reserve a present without an account.
What I learned
The greatest value came from simplifying the guest journey. Every feature serves one decision: reserving a present should be faster than coordinating it in a group chat.
